Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 BMW X3- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look, and installing the Curt Trailer Hitch receiver, on a 2020 BMW X3. Now this is what your hitch looks like when it's installed, and the great part about this one is, it bolts up behind the bumper beam, and really all that you're gonna see once it's installed, is going to be the receiver tube opening. So that's really nice because you get all the function of a hitch, but the form of keeping it nice and clean. Now this is gonna be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great, for a bunch of different accessories. So whether you're looking to put a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier on here, you're gonna have tons of options, and all of them are gonna stay in place, with a five eight pin and clip. Now hitch does not come with one, so either a lot of your accessories will come with one. more

But before we get into that why don't we just take a minute, check this out and make sure it'll work for you. First and foremost, if I was thinking about putting a hitch on a BMW, probably the first thing that would come to my mind is how it's gonna look, right Good looking vehicles and I wouldn't want a giant hitch down here taking up a bunch of space and whatnot and with this setup, you know it really can't get much better. Now this is gonna be the one with the towing package, which is gonna allow you to have the wiring necessary and the ball mount to be able to tow a trailer safely. Now this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed and you might be wondering, well, where is the hitch And that's why the Stealth name has the name Stealth. Because when you're not using the hitch, it is completely hidden and you really won't see anything. That is until you put your receiver in either for your bike rack or in this case, it even has a ball mount for towing. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 BMW X3. Now this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and best portion that you may, or may not, notice is gonna be the fact that the cross tube is hidden. And that's because that sits behind the bumper, leaving only the receiver tube opening to be visible, which is really nice because you get all the utility of your trailer hitch receiver without having to see the rest of it hanging down, giving you a little bit cleaner look overall, but still having all that utility. Now, this is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great for a number of different accessories, whether it be a ball mount, a bike rack, cargo carrier, pretty much any accessory. A lot of them will come in that two inch by two inch. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the stealth hitch rack receiver on a 2022 BMW X3 30i Xdrive. Here we have our rack receiver installed and as you can tell, you can't even see it, and that's because it lives behind the rear fascia, and whenever you need to get the utility of having the hitch, when you're puttin' on your cargo carriers or bike racks, you grab this guy here and this just slides up into place. So then you're ready to hook up and put your accessories. Now, if you are planning on towing a trailer, this stealth hitch does not actually allow you to tow, it's not designed for that. But there is a heavy duty version that includes a ball mount and is actually going to let you tow and still have that stealth capabilities to take it off when you're done. more

Hi there BMW owners. Today in your 2017 BMW X3, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's class three two inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube is gonna be completely hidden behind the fascia as it does install behind the fascia and the bumper beam there. The only thing you wouldn't be able to see here is the receiver tube at the back. And since it is tucked up fairly nice, you will be able to see it from an angle at the side but it doesn't track from the looks of the vehicle too much. more

Today in our 2010 BMW X3 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 3 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. All we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out because the cross tube's going to be hidden nicely behind the bumper. Our hitch is a class three which means it's going to give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. We're going to have a lot of different options when it comes to accessories if we're going to mount up. Today in our 2016 BMW X3 we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Receiver. This offers the 2" X 2" receiver tube opening. It's part number is C13107. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see we're still going to keep that really nice rear appearance of the X3, just going to have the receiver tube opening and safety chain connection points are all we're really going to see. You'll see that the hitch is about flush with that lower edge of the bumper. We've got that nice reinforcement collar around the end, kind of gives it a clean look. more

Today on this 2005 BMX X3 were going to install part number 13573 from Curt. All right this is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements to help when selecting some accessories. From the center of the hitch pin opening to the edge of the bumper is going to be two and a half inches. Today were working on a 2009 BMW X3. Well be installing Curt Hitch part number 13573. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is approximately 3 inches and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is approximately 15 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a drawbar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Now lets go ahead with the installation. more
